Inspire Church, located in Woodbridge, VA, is a church that is passionate about raising up fully devoted followers of Jesus who know and understand their purpose and learn to love God deeply, serve people faithfully and reach the world courageously.

 

We have often been described by those in our community as the most friendly and warm church, and we genuinely love each other and our community. Our people are generous in giving of their time, treasures, and talents.

 

We are loyal to the scriptures but open to various methods to reach people for Jesus. Our gospel-centered church loves to have fun! We’re not afraid to break out of the routine, even on a Sunday morning.

 

Our worship services are contemporary in style, modern, and relaxed. We are diverse in our backgrounds, ages, and ethnicities but unified in our identity as followers of Jesus and in our core values. Whether one is trying church for the first time or a seasoned Christian, Inspire Church meets people where they are in an environment filled with authenticity and grace.

What We Believe

​

About the Scriptures:
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.

​

About God:
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Savior of the lost world.

 

About Humanity:
We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

 

About Salvation:
We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

About the Christian Life:
We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image of Christ.

 

About the Church:
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him and by making him known to the lost world.

The Gospel: The Foundation of Our Faith.

At Inspire Church, everything we do is built on the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ.

What is the Gospel?

The gospel is the message of God's love and redemption for humanity. It is summarized in these key points:

​

1. God's Love:
   God created us in His image to have a relationship with Him (Genesis 1:27).
    

2. Our Problem - Sin:
   Sin separates us from a holy God, and the consequence of sin is death (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23).
    

3. God's Plan - Jesus:
   God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live a sinless life, die on the cross for our sins, and rise again, conquering sin and death (John 3:16, Romans 5:8).
    

4. Our Response:
   We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. If we repent of our sins and trust in Him, we receive the gift of eternal life (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9).
